With our crew averaging more than 20 years of excavating and installation experience, we are equipped to handle projects of every size — from homeowner sewer and water line repairs to large subdivision installations and the laying of water and sewer main for South Portland, Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth. We work closely with the Portland Water District (water mains/taps) and Central Maine Power (utility lines/conduit) for several decades. We are experienced, insured and pride ourselves on our reputation for quality work and the timely completion of projects — not to mention our extremely competitive prices.

We’ve been in business for four generations and more than 72 years. Our family company was started in 1946 by Leland “Big Jim” Murray. Early on the company specialized in earth work and blasting services (one of only two companies doing so in Maine). The company built a reputation for hard work and honesty.
